This work stages a quiet cosmology within a nested geometry, where a luminous square becomes a chamber for concentric rings that radiate from a single red nucleusβan ember of will amid measured order. The surface reads like a palimpsest of maps and weathered paper, its mossy greens and ochres suggesting time, terrain, and memory pressed into pigment. By dividing the inner field into quadrants, the artist lets symmetry contend with drift and abrasion, turning the image into a meditation on balance: the mindβs attempt to locate a fixed center inside a world that continuously stains, erodes, and re-collages itself.
