The work unfurls as a serpentine current across a segmented ground, its ribboned ink strata resembling both a river’s geological memory and the looping trace of a wandering thought. Pools of smoky wash and crisp, mineral-like edges create a tension between dissolution and definition, as if the image is simultaneously forming and eroding before the viewer’s eyes. The repeated bends read like breath or pulse—an abstract cartography that turns emptiness into atmosphere and movement into meaning, inviting contemplation of time’s slow carving and the body’s instinct to return, again and again, to familiar curves.
