Sava - Metaflam Oral Suspension

Metaflam oral suspension contains meloxicam which is an NSAID (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) of the oxicam class which inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. Meloxicam has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-exudative effects, Overdose may result in serious side effects and GI signs like vomiting or hematemesis, diarrhoea, fecal occult blood/melena, dark or tarry stools, loss of appetite.

• Metaflam oral suspension dosage
• 4 drops / kg bodyweight on the first day (0.2 mg/kg bodyweight) e.g., 1 ml for 7.5 kg bodyweight
• 2 drops / kg bodyweight as maintenance dose (0.1 mg/ kg bodyweight) e.g., 1 ml for 15 kg bodyweight
