This work drifts between atmosphere and topography, where coral-pink heat and aqueous blues interleave like weather systems caught mid-change. The surface is patiently inscribed with repeated, hatch-like marks that function as a kind of visual breathβmeasuring time, sensation, and the persistence of memory more than depicting a place. Bands of color slide over one another in soft veils, creating a luminous tension between calm and agitation, as though the painting holds both the promise of dawn and the afterimage of a storm.
