バレンシアガ 2023年春夏コレクションより発表された、ハイブリッド・バギーパンツです。

2023SSコレクションは、泥のランウェイを舞台にした演出で話題を呼びました。環境や社会に対するバレンシアガの問題提起を込めた演出の中で、このハイブリッドパンツはストリートとラグジュアリーを接続する象徴的なアイテムとして登場しました。

フロントから見るとクラシックなデニムパンツのように見えますが、背面はスウェット地を大胆にドッキングした、コントラストの効いたデザイン。内側にスウェットパンツを仕込んだような構造で、サイドのボタンフライディテールが両者を接続する役割を果たしています。

デムナ・ヴァザリアらしい「既存アイテムの解体と再構築」を体現する一着で、2023SSのショーでもモデルが着用。バレンシアガが得意とするオーバーサイズのシルエットと、90年代を思わせるバギーフィットが特徴です。

The SS23 show, presented on a runway made of mud, received global attention for its raw and apocalyptic concept. Within this setting, the Hybrid Buggy Pants stood out as one of the season’s signature pieces, embodying Balenciaga’s fusion of luxury fashion with streetwear attitude.

At first glance, they resemble classic oversized denim jeans, but the back panel reveals sweatshirt jersey material seamlessly fused into the denim body. The side button detailing further emphasizes the “double-layered” hybrid construction, making it appear as if sweatpants were inserted into jeans.

The exaggerated buggy fit draws inspiration from 90s streetwear silhouettes, combined with Balenciaga’s signature oversized tailoring. Constructed in a mix of cotton denim and jersey, these pants balance dramatic volume with surprisingly lightweight wearability.
