I purchased the Moondrop Old Fashioned headphones for my son. Unfortunately, I wasn't at home when they were delivered, so my son unboxed them together with my father. To my surprise, both of them absolutely loved the headphones. For my father, they brought back a wave of nostalgia. The classic old-school design reminded him of the headphones from his younger days, and he couldn't stop smiling. My son also enjoyed the unique retro look and the listening experience. My first open-back headphones. I had low expectations looking at the frequency curves. The moment I plugged it to my mobile through the ifi go link dac I was amazed by the sound. It is energetic with superb vocal and instruments separation. Punches above it's price point. Have got a new excuse to go over my music collection again.

Visually nostalgic, sonically modern.​Took a chance on the Moondrop Retro headphones and they did not disappoint! The music sounds incredibly crisp and clean. Honestly surprised by how good these sound for the price. Highly recommended!

Used the headphones at a friends place and it was love at first sound. Moondrop's sound profile is something that I find extremely compatible for my ears, and I have no idea how on earth they translated that to an open back headphone.
