This work reads like a weathered palimpsest, where veils of soot-black and ash-beige accumulate into a dense, gridded haze that both reveals and erases what lies beneath. Abraded highlights and scar-like fissures puncture the surface, turning texture into the primary narrative—an archaeology of impact, repair, and time’s stubborn residue. The restrained palette holds the eye in a suspended dusk, suggesting memory not as a clear image but as sediment: layered, unstable, and quietly insistent.
