Aarti with Man Riding Elephant

Typically used in Hindu rituals, aartis are a crucial element in worship. Originally from Gujarat, this elaborate Aarti depicts a man riding on an elephant. The aarti has seven diyas in which wicks soaked in ghee (purified butter) can be placed and lit. Made of brass, the old collectible features a well carved handle. It is in good condition, having undergone normal time related wear.
