This work stages a long, tapering corridor as both architecture and psychological passage, its fierce one-point perspective pulling the viewer into a quiet vanishing point that feels less like a destination than a held breath. Warm siennas and umbers in the floorboards radiate a lived, bodily heat, while the cool, ribbed roof above presses down in rhythmic strata, turning light into a measured pulse rather than simple illumination. The repeated slats along the sides behave like half-open shuttersβguarding and offering glimpses at onceβso that the space reads as a meditation on containment, patience, and the discipline of moving forward through memory.
