'Ajmer' purple striped silk blouse draws from the Rajasthani choli. It is made with fine 'gota', an appliqué technique where pieces of metal yarn ribbons are embroidered onto the fabric. It features an embroidered peacock on the back.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
