Contained within a circular boundary like a cross‑section of memory, the work stages an intimate tension between shelter and exposure: a fractured, warm-toned form bends inward, embracing a pale void that reads as both refuge and absence. Veils of blue-green drift across the surface, while scattered cobalt marks punctuate the calm like coded signals, suggesting a pulse of thought breaking through silence. The rough, dark rim acts as a scorched perimeter, holding the composition in a state of suspended weathering—an elegy for what is protected, and what inevitably erodes.
