This work stages a quiet collision between the monumental and the intimate: a cruciform axis cleaves a field of bruised greys and muted rose, while a vessel-like form below gathers the atmosphere into a somber basin. Faint inscriptions and ghosted marks hover like half-remembered testimony, suggesting memory that resists full articulation yet insists on being witnessed. The small, line-drawn figure—perched near the rim—introduces a fragile human scale against the weight of structure, turning the composition into a meditation on belief, burden, and the tenuous act of offering. The veiled surface and scumbled textures soften certainty, letting meaning emerge slowly, as if through fog or prayer.
