This work gathers itself as a vertical accretion of bruised metallic whites and earthen browns, where pigment feels scraped, folded, and re-wetted—less an image than a weathered surface insisting on its own history. The pale, geometric ground behaves like an architectural grid that tries to contain the central rupture, yet the thick impasto repeatedly breaks that order, letting light catch on jagged ridges like scars turned luminous. A small rose-toned disc hovers near the top as a quiet, almost ceremonial counterpoint—an ember of tenderness or a distant sun—offering a moment of breath amid the heaviness.
