This work builds a quiet monument from layered, earthen bands, where a single pale disc reads like a contained moonβan eye of stillness held inside a domed, sheltering form. Around it, prismatic shards flare in a haloed arc, suggesting both a crown and a burst of thought, as if inward contemplation has suddenly found color and edge. The composition balances weight and radiance: dense, grounded curves press forward while the fan of facets lifts the gaze upward, turning the figure into a symbolic terrain of memory, identity, and renewal. Its restrained light and matte fields make the image feel ceremonialβless a portrait than a meditation on how the self is assembled, protected, and finally allowed to bloom.
