Suspended in a hushed monochrome, the work stages a quiet dialogue between two emblems: a crescent-like shard adrift in open white space and a totemic, chalice-shaped form tethered by taut vertical lines. The stark division of the surface—void against atmospheric shadow—turns negative space into a psychological threshold, as if perception itself is split between release and containment. Subtle gradations of graphite-grey breathe into the geometry, softening its rigor and suggesting an inward ritual: a pendulum of desire and restraint, hovering between sanctuary and abyss.
