Navdurga represents the nine divine manifestations of Goddess Durga—Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidhatri.
Inspired by the bold circular kumkum mark on her forehead, the artist weaves this symbol into the lettering of each sacred name. The nine names flow with rhythmic continuity, connected by vertical strokes that form an unbroken visual thread. The composition becomes a visual mantra, unfolding the layered powers of the goddess in her many forms, representing strength, compassion, fertility, prosperity, calmness, and divine energy.
