Ibanez AEW22CD Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Ibanez AEW22CD Acoustic Electric Guitar is a perfect guitar for beginners and performing artists alike. The lush, sparkling tones originate from a classic Spruce top with an elegant Cordia back-and-sides. and a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret to maximize resonance and produce a vibrant shimmering tone.  The AEW22CD also features a single cutaway body design which allows access to those upper register notes when you're reaching for a little extra in your lead playing.

The thin profile mahogany neck will feel comfortable in your hand and you will love the easy playability. The neck also features 20 frets with Maple dot inlays on a rosewood fingerboard, and a distinctively contoured rosewood bridge which will stabilize intonation. A set of chrome Grover tuners with black buttons round out the hardware.

When it's time to hit the stage, the Ibanez AEW22CD can be amplified through an onboard Fishman Sonicore Pickup system paired with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp. The pickup's is fitted under the saddle and helps preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of the guitar. The Ibanez AEW22CD is also equipped with an easy to operate onboard tuner.
