Their collection is a perfect blend of relaxed style & comfort – warm, slightly quirky, imperfect yet precious. The Chinese had mastered the art of embroidery. Its history dates back from the Neolithic age in China. With the quality of silk fiber available most of the embroidery was done with silk. Our Ming cushion is inspired by the Xiang style of embroidery from Hunan. It is adapted from a scrap of antique textile to create a cushion that is a work of art. Light colored peonies embroidered on a black velvet base make it luxurious and striking with the gold edging adding to the effect.
