This work suspends the viewer in a liminal thicket where forms appear and recede like half-remembered figures, their presence suggested through rubbed charcoal textures and veils of grey-green atmosphere. Bold ochres cut across the surface in fractured, almost heraldic flashes, acting as both warning signal and lifeline against the paintingβs soft erasures. Vertical strokes on the right read as trunks or scaffolds, anchoring the composition while the central mass dissolves into ambiguity, turning space into a psychological terrain of concealment and revelation. The result is a quiet tension between shelter and exposure, as if the image is negotiating what can be seen, what must be hidden, and what remains only as trace.
