Khandoba Mask

This is a brass Khandoba mask from North Karnataka or Maharashtra. The mask would have been used as an ornament for a stone sculpture. Khandoba is a manifestation of Shiva worshipped mainly in the Deccan Plateau of India, especially in the states of Maharashtra and North Karnataka.
