MULTICOLOR SUZANI CARPET

A hand-tufted wool carpet with multicolor Suzani-inspired pattern — the botanical and floral motifs built up in pile across the field. Tufting builds a denser pile than flatweave or knotting: yarn punched into a backing and finished from above, creating depth and weight. The Suzani pattern — large-scale floral medallions and vines in blues, greens, reds, ivories — draws from Central Asian embroidery traditions but is executed in the Uttar Pradesh tufted carpet vocabulary. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur. The multicolor work reads ornate and layered. Suited to interiors where ornament anchors the floor. 100% wool pile.
