This composition stages a charged duality: a monumental, horned feminine figure—rendered in cool, sculptural greys and wrapped in an ornate patterned garment—sits like an icon of endurance against a field of ochres and ember tones where small silhouettes flicker in restless motion. The repeated grain-like motifs and the central flame-bearing emblem read as both harvest and ritual, suggesting how communal labor and collective struggle are distilled into symbols that outlast the bodies that enact them. By splitting the space between kinetic shadow-scenes and the still, commanding presence of the seated form, the work meditates on power as something inherited and performed—at once protective, burdened, and defiantly luminous.
