The work stages a sacred courtyard as a corridor of time, where receding colonnades and meticulously gridded stone lead the eye toward a distant sanctum held against soft blue mountains. Raking sunlight carves the architecture into alternating bands of glare and cool shadow, turning the ground plane into a quiet ledger of footsteps, devotion, and passing hours. Small figures, almost incidental, animate the monumental scale and suggest ritual as a lived, communal continuity rather than spectacle. In this measured perspective, the temple becomes both shelter and thresholdβan encounter between human fragility and enduring stone.
