Each plug and port that you use in your set-up has a separate earth point. This results in unwanted buss and distortion. Simply plug in your iFi Audio iDefender+ into a USB port and it will clear up all that noise while giving you only pure sound.
THE EARTH DEFENDER
The iFi Audio iDefender+ gets rid of ground loops by breaking into the noisy power supply and killing the USB power noise. It creates a single earth point. This device is effective in reducing the system noise floor which gives you better dynamic contrast, resolution and warmth.
WITH EFFICIENT POWER MANAGEMENT
If you are using the iFi Audio iDefender+ with a DAC that uses the USB power from the computer rather than using the in-built battery, the iFi Audio - iDefender+ is for you. What it does is it blocks the power from the computer and directs clean power from an external source to the DAC. You can further improve the performance of USB DAC by using iFi's iPower X.
