The black Bindu in this painting represents the concentration of all the energy and creation, and the four colored areas surrounding the Bindu represent the fundamental elements of nature. Their equal divisions represent their collective balance in the nature.
According to S.H. Raza, all colours encompass to become black. Here, the Bindus in five different colours, encompassed inside the bigger black Bindu, have two interpretations. First, all the coloured Bindus represent five fundamentals of life. Their individual representations in a circular format, symbolize that they are complete, balanced individual entities. Second, these Bindus encompassed inside a bigger black Bindu represent their coming together to make up the cosmos.
