A hand-woven wool dhurrie in blue with multicolor chevron kilim pattern β the zigzag geometry laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave ground. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in contained bands, the chevron pattern reading directional and contemporary. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The blue grounds the multicolor work. 100% wool, flatweave.
