This work stages a quiet confrontation between glow and gravity: a luminous yellow field presses inward while a cool, blue-green core holds its ground like a sheltered interior. The surface is insistently worked—etched and rubbed into a palimpsest—so that time itself feels embedded in the skin of the image, turning simple color into memory and abrasion. Warm ochres bloom at the margins like heat signatures, suggesting both protection and encroachment, as if the central form is simultaneously emerging and being worn away. The composition reads as an intimate map of resilience—an inner sanctuary traced through pressure, texture, and light.
