The socks are thin and good for hot days. They do feel warmer to the skin than other thin socks I have, but not a deal breaker.They are soft, softer than most socks, but I don't find this an advantage.They stretch too much, which means it is somewhat harder to put them on and take them off. I can remove other socks by stepping on the edge and pulling the leg. Not these. I'm a big fan of bamboo material, especially in socks. They're softer than cotton and don't shrink as much. The only thing about bamboo socks is they retain moisture longer. I notice this when they come out of the dryer. All other items in the dryer came out dry, but these socks still feel a little moist. I normally just hand them up for a day or so and they're fine. Worth it, very comfortable.
