This work stages a quiet collision between the fluidity of stain and the insistence of structure, as bruised violets and amber-browns bloom across the paper like weather systems gathering and dissipating. Around the soft, bleeding center, the small raised squares read as tactile βpixelsβ or tilesβan index of order attempting to contain what is essentially permeable and alive. The speckled marks function like static or sediment, suggesting memoryβs granular residue as it settles at the edges of perception. In the tension between the airy white ground and the dense, earthen core, the piece becomes a meditation on how experience is both felt in the body and archived in patterns.
