Story

My mother was an exceptionally kind-hearted, magnanimous, and caring woman. Since my college was near my house, my friends would often come over to study with me. My mother was a school teacher. When she came home to the sight of us studying together, she would make sure to nourish us with delicious snacks and hot cups of tea. In the evening, I would see her in our courtyard, surrounded by the children of our domestic helpers. She gave each of them the time and attention they needed to pass their school exams with flying colours.

My friends had an amazing bond with my mother. They always shared their deepest secrets with her, and came to her seeking solutions for their problems. She was a woman deeply loved and respected every other human being. And thats why, every child whose life she touched called her ˜mummy instead of ˜aunty.
