This work stages a restless theatre of symbols where saturated reds and magentas pulse against cool turquoise margins, as if emotion continually presses up against a tenuous calm. Fragmented figures—an eye, a mouth, drifting vessels, and schematic marks—collide in a layered, semi-architectural space, suggesting memory built from discontinuous scenes rather than a single narrative. The fine linear notations behave like circuitry or private handwriting, binding disparate forms into a fragile order and hinting at the modern psyche’s attempt to translate feeling into systems. In the soft veils of paint and abrupt graphic edges, the piece holds a tension between intimacy and abstraction, inviting the viewer to read it as both confession and map.
