Zildjian Gen16 14inch Buffed Bronze Hi-Hat

When the Gen16s were first introduced a few years ago, they were an instant game changer. Not only did they allow one of the most prestigious cymbal companies into the world of electronic percussion, but they gave you the feel and response of an actual cymbal. Zildjian has had yet another break though with these revolutionary cymbals. These Gen16s are now plated in a buffed bronze which produces a richer, warmer tone then the original nickel plated Gen16s. Unlike traditional cymbal pads, Gen16s can be played with sticks, rods or mallets. They play, respond, and feel like real cymbals because that's exactly what they are. These hi-hats are remarkably articulate with a defined chick sound, rich wash and sharp hiss.
