This work stages a jubilant, almost theatrical figure whose body is pieced together like a lived archive—fields of turquoise and crimson stitched over a palimpsest of ritual imagery that seems to pulse from within the torso. The heavy contouring and collage-like seams turn the character into a moving shrine, where folk ornament, devotional narrative, and everyday textiles coexist in spirited tension. Set against a parchment ground dense with incised marks, the saturated blues and reds read as acts of insistence—joy held together by memory, and motion presented as a form of prayer.
