This work constructs a totemic guardian from rigorously faceted planes, as if a human presence has been translated into architecture and ritual geometry. The restrained graphite palette—punctuated by faint gold notes—lets light behave like a moral force, sliding across the prisms to reveal alternating registers of vulnerability and authority. A cracked, earthen band above and the hovering zigzag fissure read like a breach in the world’s surface, while the flanking, tool-like emblems suggest ceremony, labor, and protection held in tense balance. In its symmetrical stillness the figure becomes both shield and shrine, proposing identity as something assembled, fortified, and quietly weathered by time.
