Set within two circular vignettes, the work stages a quiet dialectic between intimacy and industry: a motherβs bowed profile shelters the child in a chiaroscuro hush, while across the divide a sewing machine looms like a monument to necessity. The ochre discs read as shared suns or halos, binding tenderness and labor into the same atmospheric field, even as the central seam insists on their separation. Abraded textures and muted earth tones evoke memory and wear, suggesting how care is stitched together from fatigue, devotion, and the relentless rhythm of making.
