Story

She was a natural leader, one who thought of the ˜us before the ˜I. They said she needed to have a vision, imbibe a powerful personality, speak with charisma to capitalize on her strength and become a better leader. But, she knew better. She did the one thing that really mattered “ she listened. And, people of her own kind came together, not behind her but around her. She built a community that became a world unto itself. She lead a tribe that lead many others in kindness.

This saree is named after, and the story is inspired by, the Regent Honeyeater, an endangered species of bird.

This is a gorgeous, soft mul-viscose slub saree in yellow with an olive-coloured border that shines in all its simplicity and yet takes your breath away!

 Description

 This saree brings the soft fluidity of mul and the unique textures of viscose slub together in a blend.
The mul cotton is what we call ˜made in heaven at Suta. Known in some parts of India as mul mul, the fabric is buttery soft, flow and delicately beautiful. It is also very light and feels like second skin. With the right care, it becomes softer and softer with every wash and truly feels like a hug that wraps you in its love!
Viscose is a biodegradable, sustainable fabric that is made using regenerated cellulose fibre. It is a man-made, manufactured fibre of cellulose origin that is produced using natural materials derived from wood pulp. The fabric is versatile, drapes beautifully, has an added sheen to it that lends a beautiful touch and the slub texture (slightly lumpy threads in places) makes it a delight to wear.
