This beautiful brass sculpture of a man riding a horned forest animal is such a unique piece. The art of this Dhokra craft dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization and has been practiced for over 4,000 years.

Traditionally used in central and eastern India by tribal communities such as the Gonds and Santhals. It was primarily created for ritual purposes, ancestral worship, and as decorative items for homes and shrines. Each piece is made entirely by hand using the lost-wax technique, resulting in one-of-a-kind sculptures with intricate detailing and character.

The man sitting on the horned animal is a symbol of harmony with nature, strength in leadership, and the guiding presence of ancestral spirits.
