This drawing distills the horse into a cascade of graphite velocities, where repeated contours and trailing arcs turn anatomy into pure momentum. The composition is built from layered gestures—dark, insistent lines anchoring the body while vaporous echoes of limbs and mane dissolve into the surrounding space, as if the animal is outrunning its own outline. Light is not rendered as illumination but as absence, letting the paper act like wind and silence against which the charge becomes audible. In this friction between precision and blur, the work reads as a meditation on untamable force—presence captured only through its passage.
