Taking a leaf out of oriental textile traditions, this dramatic print has the Dance of the Yali as the central figure. Circling mythical lions, guardians of temple gates, are frozen in a standoff. Cloud forms, pilaster borders turn this print into a rich narrative toile.

The colors are richly earthy, terracotta against cool grey tones. The velvet fabric adds lustre and a quiet elegance.
