The service boot can be traced back to the start of the 20th century. Originally called into service by the militaries of Great Britain, the United States, and Canada as they waged war across the trenches in France during the First World War and later the varied landscapes of Europe, North Africa, East Asia, and the Pacific during the Second World War.
Our take on this icon combines design elements incorporated during both periods.
Featuring full grain leather, a historically inspired last, a sturdy midsole and rugged yet refined half-sole, and the classic single-piece backstay and heel counter synonymous with the boots of both eras.
In addition, in a first for Craft and Glory, we've introduced the historically accurate copper rivet to further reinforce the vamp and quarters. Further, the boot has a structured toe that will gradually flatten over time, a huge plus for all leather lovers who crave the patina synonymous with vintage military-inspired footwear.
