Story
No one believed her when she shared her plans of quitting her corporate job to follow her heart as a photographer. They laughed it off as a passing phase, convinced that better sense would prevail. They warned her that it was just a flight of fancy and that soon, she would fail. And, for a while, it seemed as though they were right. It was incredibly difficult to crack into the world of art and even harder for her to be taken seriously by clients and gallerists, with a scarce portfolio and no recommendations to back her. But she was nothing if not persistent and she persisted, determined to work as hard as she could, for as long as it took. Like the flame of the akhand jyoti, she would burn steadfastly until times changed. It took her four years, but she finally achieved her dream of showcasing her work at one of the citys finest galleries. And she knew it was only the beginning of her lifes journey.
