There are two types of slide action in chromatic harmonica and most suitable one is adopted for each models.

Long stroke is adopted for SCX series. The larger the moving distance of slide is, the larger hole to bring air is, so more breath can be sent to reeds. The sound response is good and particularly powerful sound can be obtained in the low tones.
