This work builds a quiet architecture of feeling: a central, altar-like panel holds a soft ember of light, as if a sun were being remembered rather than observed. The earthen reds and oxidized browns seep and scar across the surface, while textured vertical bands on either side read like worn wallsβtimeβs sediment pressed into pigment. Near the bottom, a dark aperture anchors the composition, suggesting a threshold or sealed chamber that turns the painting into a meditation on interiority, ritual, and the fragile persistence of warmth within enclosure.
