Handmade in Spain, Moire 100% wool thread is a rustic spun fiber that comes on charming wooden spools. Moire wool thread has small slubs and has a "hairier" appearance than cotton threads, like perle cotton or embroidery floss.  Rustic wool thread sits on top of your fabric rather than blending into it thereby creating texture and added interest in your needlework. Perfect for wool applique, hand embroidery and cross stitch.
