Story 

Being alone during the festive season was never on the agenda, but then neither was coming down with a bad cold the night before Diwali. So, she dutifully stayed home while her siblings went visiting their relatives. And as the night wore on, her mood worsened and she found herself quietly sobbing into her pillow. But the quiet but persistent kisses of her beloved pooch shook her out of her slump. He was perplexed at her tears and was doing his best to wipe them away. She pulled him close and hugged him tightly. Together, they went into the kitchen where she fed him his favourite treat and later dressed him up in his most flattering golden bow-tie. It may not have been the Diwali she envisioned, but it was special nonetheless. And that was more than she could have hoped for.
