What began as sketches from his visits to the zoo have transformed into a deeper meditation on coexistence. In these images, Laxman turns from the human to the animal not as an escape, but as expansion — a way of rediscovering instinct, curiosity, and connection. The dense black ink anchors each form in intensity, while the surrounding lines breathe with freedom and play.
