This work stages a tense architecture of planes and wedges, where ochre space functions like a sunlit void against which darker, sedimentary forms press forward as if mid-shift. Thin incisions of red thread through the composition like a pulse—at once connective and cauterizing—suggesting memory’s ability to bind fractured surfaces while leaving visible seams. The layered textures and oblique angles create the sensation of a constructed refuge that is never quite stable, a quiet meditation on how we assemble order from abrasion, weight, and time.
