The Gen1 2.0T TSI engine had a lot of problems with its intake manifold, and while an improved version of the intake manifold followed officially, it cost a few hundred dollars, so we came up with a better solution.

Choose the THICK (.250") shim for early production manifolds, with no hump (OE# 06J133201G and 06J133201AS)
