This work constructs a modernist still life out of fractured planes—triangles, bands, and wedges that interlock like shards of memory—while two emphatic red circles anchor the composition with a pulse that feels both playful and ceremonial. Warm ochres and oranges dominate like late-afternoon light on a tabletop, yet the abrupt greens and blacks introduce a counter-rhythm, suggesting shadows, foliage, and the quiet weight of absence between objects. The jagged white seams operate as both contour and rupture, turning the image into a meditation on how perception assembles “things” from color, pressure, and interval. What emerges is not a literal scene but the sensation of a set table—energy, appetite, and order held in a precarious, vivid balance.
