Platalea major ART PRINT

Prior to the advent of photography these meticulously detailed drawings and paintings were the best way to understand animal & insect morphology. Zoological illustration is the art of depicting the form, color, and details of animals. Our collection of botanical & zoological illustrations are printed on a fine quality ivory paper. These are reproductions of old illustrations & in most cases will have the same imperfections as the original.
